A. Fan Festival 2008 is our major FINAL FANTASY XI event. The two-day event is dedicated to the fans of FINAL FANTASY XI and will feature an early look at an upcoming Version Update. The event is host to many contests, activities, and giveaways sure to excite any adventurer!

A. Tickets are available for $40. Ticket availability is limited so be sure to register early!

Q. What do I get for the price of admission? back to top
A. Each registered attendee will receive a badge granting them event access for the duration of the Festival. Each registered attendee will also receive a free Gobbie Bag containing an event program, a new in-game item, and FINAL FANTASY XI merchandise. Other giveaways will be announced soon!

Q. Are there any hotel discounts that can be applied to Fan Festival attendees? back to top
A. Unfortunately all rooms at our previous discount rate have been filled. There are still rooms available at the Renaissance Hotel for the normal rate. You can check our Hotel & Travel section for more details.

Q. Is there an age limit for registered attendees? back to top
A. Yes, you must be 13 years of age or older in order to register for Fan Festival 2008. Persons under the age of 13 are permitted to attend the festival free of charge, but they must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Also, you must be a registered attendee over the age of 13 to receive exclusive items, participate in activities, contests, and giveaways.

Q. Do I have to attend the event to receive my Gobbie Bag and In-game Item? back to top
A. Yes, you must attend Fan Festival 2008 in order to receive your Gobbie Bag and in-game item. In-game item cards will be distributed inside each Gobbie Bag. We will not mail out Gobbie Bags in the event that you are unable to attend.

Q. Can I wear a costume to the event? back to top
A. Yes, in fact we encourage it and hope you enter the costume contest as well for a chance at great prizes. We ask however that you do not bring edged weapons, firearms, or actual crushing weapons. Inflatable, plastic, or wooden items are acceptable.
